Here is a short biography of the new Bagua Master at the school:

Master Wu, 65 years old, is top-nationally ranked and one of the ten most famous Bagua Martial Artists in China. He was born into a family that became renowned for their practice as Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctors. Under his family’s environment, Master Wu gained a foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine and later went on to train as a certified Acupuncture and Massage Doctor.

At the age of 15, he started to study Southern Fist with an old martial arts Master in Emei Mountain, Suchuan. There he was introduced to the Wudang School, regarded as the origin of Tai Chi and internal Kung Fu. He has been practicing Kung Fu ever since, for what is now 50 years.

As his practice developed, he searched for a higher understanding of the internal style. In the 1980s, he started to do research into Bagua and from it published many articles in professional journals. His practice and research has culminated in what he now teaches to others, a specially developed and unique system of Bagua.
