Students at the school have begun using in the newly built training hall next to the main school building.

The school is very happy to welcome Shaolin Temple Warrior Monk and teacher, Master Du, who is joining to teach at the school. Master Du is a specialist in Palm Blossom fist. His biography follows.

Master Du is a 34th generation warrior monk of the Shaolin Temple. He went to Shaolin Temple to study Kung fu at the age of 11 and stayed there until he was 18. He is very skilled at fist and weapon forms. He specializes in Shaolin 18 weapons animal styles and drunken styles. In the past two years, he followed a traditional master to specialize in Palm Blossom Fist (Mei Hua Quan) and was with the fortune of being accepted for study by the 16th descendant of the Palm Blossom Fist master Han Bai Guang. He is now a senior coach of the traditional Martial Arts Palm Blossom Fist.

He has been teaching since 1998 and has many years of teaching experience. He is currently ranked at level 6.. He has won sanda kickboxing competitions in the 65kg weight category and also achieved first place in traditional staff form in the National Martial Arts Competition in Zhongzhou province in the year 2000. In the 2007 international traditional martial arts competition held in Yantai, he was awarded first place in Shaolin south staff. In 2008, he also won the Championship in the 1St Palm Blossom Fist competition.
